MacLeod recently starred in and co-wrote the multiple award winning indie feature film A GHOST WAITS directed by first time helmer Adam Stovall. The film just got picked up for distribution by Arrow Films. He also starred in critically acclaimed THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE directed by Perry Blackshear which racked up awards on the festival circuit (including a few for Best Actor), was picked up by Netflix where it was a top trending film, followed by Amazon Prime and other platforms. The team's second film, THE SIREN (AKA THE RUSALKA) is now distributed by Dark Sky Entertainment (US), and Signature (WORLD). Their third feature is currently in post production. Fun fact: MacLeod had a cameo in 2019's DR. SLEEP, sequel to Stephen King's THE SHINING, directed by Mike Flanagan playing the departed mobster Roger Macassi.

He is a multiple award winning audiobook narrator known for his immersive, cinematic style and character voices. Highlights include the Sandman Slim Series, The Reckoners Series, The Warriors Series, The World According to Garp, and Templeton in the Grammy Nominated Charlotte's Web narrated by Meryl Streep.

He enjoys steady voice over work, ranging from Animation to Video Games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Commercials like Whole Foods’ 2020 and 2021 Television campaign, to voice replacement in feature films like Underworld: Blood Wars. Other commercial clients have included Honda, KIA, Ford, McDonald's, T-Mobile, Kay Jewelers, and others. He’s also proud to voice spots for the not for profit Represent.Us which is spearheading the movement for grassroots campaign finance and election reform.
