From Louisville KY, MacLeod studied theater at Middlebury College and got his professional start in NYC performing off-broadway, in films, and narrating audiobooks before moving to LA where he began honing his professional focus on voice over.

Currently he's Green Arrow on Batwheels for Warner Bros Animation. Haunted Nickelodeon's The Loud House as zombie pirate Captain Kit. Voices an ever expanding list of video games including Atlus's Persona 5 Tactica as Toshiro Kasukabe, TiMi’s Delta Force grappling foes and shielding allies as Alexei Petrov, and Supervive by Theorycraft games as Felix the feral fire fox, among others.

He's narrated literally hundreds of audiobooks for all the major publishers, along the way winning 5 Audie Awards, a SOVAS award, a large stack of Earphones awards, an Odyssey Honor, and voiced the rat Templeton in the Grammy nominated audiobook Charlotte’s Web.

He's been the commercial voice of national campaigns for Whole Foods, Frontline, Wild Turkey, and Honda Civic as well as spots for T-Mobile, McDonalds and other great brands. And he's proud to have voiced the occasional spot for Represent.US, a not-for-profit driving local and regional campaign finance reform initiatives all across the country

For the screen he's starred in five indie features including festival darlings They Look Like People and A Ghost Waits, as well as a cameo in Mike Flanagan's Dr. Sleep as the ghost of Roger Macassi.

When not in the booth he plays Maui, Hulk, Hans, and every other male character from a Disney film for his most important audience, his three daughters.
